Mountainview Safety Services Ltd., a service contractor
in the Oil and Gas Industry as well as Logging
and Construction, has a responsibility to protect
all workers engaged in its activities from personal
injury and health hazards. To meet our responsibilities,
we will operate under the following guiding principles:
Responsibility
The operating company, when acting as prime contractor,
is responsible for coordination and general supervision
of all activities at the work site, including
activities carried out by contractors, sub-contractors,
service companies, suppliers and visitors.
As a contractor, it is Mountainview Safety Services
Ltd's responsibility to supply highly skilled individuals
who are trained to work in a safe environment,
take direction from company representatives and
work in harmony with other contractors. It is the
responsibility of workers and employers to refuse
to perform unsafe work or work practices.
Priority
Activities will be conducted on the basis that
the safety of all personnel is of vital importance,
whether they are employed by an operating company,
a contractor, a sub-contractor, a service company
or a supplier.
